Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The publication ethics policy of Momentum International Journal of Civil Engineering (MIJCE) refers to the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines and complies with the MIJCE Editorial Board’s code of conduct. Readers, authors, reviewers, and editors are required to follow these ethics policies in every publication process within MIJCE.
This publication ethics aims to ensure the eligibility of publishing articles containing data and information that advance knowledge, science and technology, as well as the arts in the field of civil engineering. Principles of Transparency and Publication Ethics
The COPE Principles of Transparency and Publication Ethics provide essential guidance to ensure ethical, transparent, and high-quality scholarly publications. Peer Review Process

Identification and Handling of Research Misconduct Allegations
The Editor-in-Chief takes reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of articles involving research misconduct, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, and data falsification/fabrication.

Conflict of Interest
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest through a Conflict of Interest Disclosure form. Editors must not be involved in decisions about manuscripts they have written themselves, manuscripts written by family members or colleagues, or manuscripts involving products or services in which they have an interest.
Acknowledgements
Contributors who do not meet the authorship criteria should be listed in the “Acknowledgements” section. Examples include technical assistance, writing support, or administrative support.

Authors must disclose any financial support received for their research. This meets sponsor requirements, increases transparency, and acknowledges the funder’s contribution.
